Can You Use Hoppes 9 On Outside Of Gun? [Solved]
Actually, it is fine to use anywhere on your firearm where you need to remove powder residue, and to some extent, lead fouling. Hoppe’s basic kit includes cleaning rods, patches for applying solvent and oil to the bore and interior of the gun, and usually a cleaning rod brush for stubborn dirt. Hoppe’s No.7 Sept 2016
